Interpretive waterfeature at hotel entry.

A new fountain was designed as an entry feature for this urban beachside hotel. Stylized after the cluster of islands known as Oryukdo which, depending on the tide and the haze, appear & disappear as five or six islands near the horizon. Combining vertical slabs of stone carved in jagged outlines similar to the islands in an infinity-edged fountain pool the fountain uses fog jets to mimic the effect of the frequently changing view of this Busan landmark. Fiber-optic lights animate the feature for nighttime effect.
