Resort Hotel Landscape on an Urban Beach.

Adding a new guest wing, renovating a rooftop spa area and creating a focal fountain for this hotel's Y2K millennium gala was the challenge in late 1999.  

In addition to reorganizing the parking and entry to serve both the old and new wings, a new fountain 'O Ryuk Do' (Five Six Islands) was stylized after the islands which appear & disappear near the horizon in Busan's hazy climate. A series of cold fog jets and fiber-optic lights animate the feature year-round.
