Renovation & Expansion along the Adriatic Coast.

Located on the Dalmatian Coastline looking across the water at the historic town of Split, Le Meridien Lav combines a mediterranean yacht facility with casino, indoor & outdoor pools, beach area and a large recreational facility.  Structures dating from the communist period were renovated to create a more modern resort in 2009.

A new infinity-edged swimming pool links the existing indoor pool to the beach and recreation areas and a series of grassy terraces were created to link the rooftop tennis courts to the beach.  A palm-lined esplanade was created along the entire shoreline.

The hotel's entry and arrival plaza were revised with new pavements, sculptural light columns and new plantings. On a steep hillside covered with mature pine trees a series of timber decks in a garden setting were proposed.
