As the focal point of a residential community built around an 18 hole golf course adjacent to Shaoxing's Mirror Lake / Keyan Scenic Area, the Jian Lake Golf Clubhouse is built around a water courtyard.
Perched atop a small hill, the clubhouse looks outwards across the fairways towards the smooth lake beyond - and looks inwards at a black, infinity-edged fountain pool with a dynamic display of water jets in a geometric grid. The fountains slowly build from low, shallow bubblers to tall jets of water through a series of programmed water effects, A backdrop of Yulan trees with a specimen Japanese Maple as a focal point.
