Regional Shopping Center in Sydney's Western Suburbs.

Located in the fast-growing western suburbs of Sydney, Penrith Plaza is a large retail shopping mall.

The initial landscape design featured several outdoor seating areas near pedestrian entries and a grid of eucalyptus trees reflecting the project's strong pedestrian arcade.

The project's most notable feature is the relocation of two mature Cape Chestnut trees which were used to flank the project's main entrance.  These two trees, relocated prior to construction, were historic features which were given new life as features within the urbanizing area. The corners of the intersection, where pedestrians cross, were marked by clusters of four matched Canary Island Date Palms.

Subsequently expanded and enlarged, many of the project's landscape features have become occupied by new buildings.
